Disneyland’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’

The version of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ by Disneyland holds a special place in anyone’s heart out of all the wonderful movies they have ever produced. Kids ask for this movie and adults still see the film at the comfort of their home on sick and grumpy days. This is one of those few animated movies that feature a strong female lead character who does not insist on looking for a price to save her from danger and settling down. This is a new concept introduced in the film which perhaps captured the hearts of people.

Although the theme park is packed, there never seems to be a very long line of queue for Alice in Wonderland Ride. This is a traditional Disney ride that although it has distinctive features, the visitors actually re-enter and exit the building throughout the course of the ride. Alice can be found in Fantasy Island straightly next to the Mad Tea Party. This is best described as a twirling teacup ride adopted from the movie.

This wonderful ride in Disney shows characters and wonderful scenes identical to the movie. Along the ride, the soundtrack of the movie accompanied with a series of sights sets the mood for the guests. The characters are whimsical, bright and eye catching. One of the famous scenes in the movie was ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’. And so, the guests will follow the white rabbit going to the rabbit hole which enters Wonderland. Alice herself is shown in the ride accompanied with ‘Golden Afternoon’ as the background music. The gardens of talking flowers with hookah-smoking caterpillars are also in the scene.

The Tulgey Wood turns the ride into a zany and dark place whereby it is a bit scary and exciting. After this, the ride will show the marching cluster of cards and their reflections in a mirror that makes them an even larger gang. In the movie itself, the marching cards are painting the flowers red in order not to make the ‘Queen of Hearts’ mad.

Although Alice in Wonderland is pretty much of a brief ride in Disney, most of the kids seem to find it longer comparing to Mr. Toad’s Wild and Peter Pan’s Rides.

This favorite ride from one of Disney’s successful animated movies enjoyed good treatment. Although it may not feature the latest technology, the rides are entertaining no matter how much you repeat them. Definitely this sweet and little ride will be adored by fans of all ages.
